Serving as a multi-functional connector for PENN 1, The Landing offers a hospitality-forward experience for building tenants, guests, and restaurant patrons.
Operated by esteemed hospitality group DMK, helmed by restaurateur David Morton, The Landing serves a business-forward crowd, and the space was designed with flexibility in mind to accommodate different WorkLife modes, from closing a deal in the private dining room, to socializing with friends over a cocktail.
The warmly lit central bar greets patrons and is the physical and visual heart of The Landing.
Directly adjacent to a double height atrium, event space, and grand stair, guests arrive at a refined lounge with plush seating, a fireplace, library and world-class art. The lounge is accessible all day, fluidly and simultaneously supporting large events, cocktail hour events, pre-function activities, and overflow for The Landing bar.
High end design touches including custom millwork and artwork, elevate this "lobby restaurant" into an essential part of the neighborhood experience.
Hidden and retractable sliding doors, disguised behind a series of shelves populated with green-hued wine bottles, make the connection between the private dining areas and the dining room seamless, allowing the restaurant to expand or limit capacity to meet the required level of intimacy and ambience.
Table and banquette seating in the west dining room includes a semi-private 'captain's table', surrounded by dark-stained custom millwork and art, a convivial seat to take in the action across the entire restaurant.
